Foldr is designed from the ground up with your privacy as the top priority. The application operates 100% locally on your machine. We do not collect, transmit, upload, or analyze your personal files, file names, directory structures, or disk usage statistics. Everything you do within Foldr stays entirely on your computer.
We do not collect any personal information through the Foldr application itself. If you purchase a license through our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), they will collect necessary billing information (such as your email address) to process the transaction and generate your license key. We have access to this billing data to provide customer support, but we never have access to your payment methods (e.g., credit card numbers).
When you activate a Foldr Pro license, the application communicates strictly with our licensing provider's API to verify the validity of your license key and to enforce device limits. This check transmits your license key and a hashed hardware identifier. It does not transmit any personal files.
Our website utilizes the GitHub API solely to track aggregate download statistics and to fetch the latest application version for auto-updates. This process is anonymous and does not track individual users.
